Meet Steven and Amy Spurlock, owner’s of Spurlock’s Auto Works.  The business was founded in 1932 by Steven’s Great Grandfather Bymon Curtis Spurlock. He named the business “Spurlock’s Garage” offering mechanic work and towing services.  Each generation has brought a new dimension to the business.  Steven took over in 1999 and by 2004 had replaced the old garage with two new steel buildings, creating a new mechanic shop and a new paint and body shop.  In 2010, a tire machine was purchased to begin the sell of tires and more modern wreckers were purchased to handle towing.  Most recently, in March of 2021, Spurlock’s Auto Works was established at their new building at 433 Robertson Road Wylliesburg.  This shop is a full time body shop and towing company.  The shop on Hwy 15 is still open for business and owned by the Spurlock’s but now has a renter that offers state inspections and mechanic work.
